Does anyone here use the Linux OS? If you do, what are your suggestions (I.E: Ubuntu)?
    1. What are some tools to learn Linux?
    2. How powerful does a machine have to be to run Linux?
    3. Can you switch to Linux OS when you have a Windows OS (and if so, how can you do it)?
I have some other questions but I can't recall them at the moment.

    1. Youtube is a good way to learn linux. I have learnt most of my stuff by just playing around by it ve easy to stuff up if using SU.

    2. Depending on the OS. And old windows 98 laptop can use linux. I use linux on my Raspberry Pi 3 for my Christmas lightshow.

    3. You can. Best youtube the instuctions as if incorrect you could delete google. Best use a VirtualBox system.

I am planning on putting Linux on one my old PCs.

    Intel Core 2 Duo E7500 @2.93 GHz
    10 GB of RAM
    64-bit Windows 7
149 GB hard drive (w/ 1.31 GB free)

    What is a VirtualBox system?
What is a good Linux Distribution for beginners?
Is there anything else I should know?

A VirtualBox is like a computer that you control with your computer like TeamViewer.

Edit In computing, a virtual machine (VM) is an emulation of a computer system.Virtual machines are based on computer architectures and provide functionality of a physical computer. Their implementations may involve specialized hardware, software, or a combination.

There is a basic CommandLine tutorial at Codecademy and also this series is good (or view it on his website - index of videos on the left) - thenewboston is amazing for learning like anything, and he's quite hot but yea, good tutorials.
